BEKASI (April 5th 2020) - The COVID-19 pandemic that has spread in Indonesia has an impact on the economic conditions of the people. One way to reduce the risk of being infected with COVID-19 is the fulfillment of sufficient nutrition to build immunity.
In order to respond to these conditions as well as to fulfill the basic needs for Victims of Drug Abuse who are undergoing the Rehabilitation process, the Directorate of Social Rehabilitation for Victims of Drug Abuse, on Sunday (05/04) distributed 150 basic food packages to 11 Report Obligatory Recipient Institutions (IPWL) in the Jabodetabek area.
The form of assistance was in the form of side dishes, children's meals, ready-to-eat meals, with a total of 6 packages / people with problems. The packages were immediately handed over to the IPWL in the Jabodetabek area.
The assistance was welcomed gratefully by the IPWL Leaders and Beneficiaries. "Alhamdulillah and thank you, the Ministry of Social Affairs is here for us," he said.
"This assistance is very useful for us, especially in fulfilling the nutrition of clients / beneficiaries in our IPWL in the situations and conditions facing the COVID-19 outbreak," said one of the IPWL representatives.
