The Director General of Social Rehabilitation Attends the Coordination Meeting to Improve the Welfare and Protection of Children and Women in Aceh
JAKARTA (February 26th 2020) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation Edi Suharto represented the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Juliari P Batubara in the Coordination Meeting for the Improvement of the Welfare and Protection of Girls and Children in Aceh.
Located in the Main Meeting Room of the KSP 2nd Floor of the Bina Graha Jakarta Building, this coordination meeting was attended by the Minister of Village for Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration, the Ministry of PPA, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Deputy for Child Protection, Minister for KUKM, Senior Advisor of the Minister of Education and Culture, Director General Paudi Bud, Senior Advisor of the Minister of Health.
The meeting was chaired by the Presidential Chief of Staff, Moeldoko, who asked for input from various Ministries to carry out the President's commitment to improve the welfare and protection of the rights of Acehnese girls and children.
Edi conveyed three schemes in the implementation of improving the handling of welfare, protection of women and children in Aceh, namely the presentation of data on victims through SIKS-NG, victims who have received social assistance through the Family Hope Program, and services for child victims in social rehabilitation centers for children who need special protection "Daarusa'dah" Aceh.
