The Distribution of Social Assistance in Yogyakarta is Getting More Orderly
BANTUL (May 12, 2020)
– The Yogyakarta BBPPKS (Social Welfare Education and
Training Center) monitors the distribution of Cash Social Assistance in Bantul
Regency. The monitoring of social assistance distribution was carried out in
Argodadi Urban Village, Sedayu Sub-District, and Sitimulyo Village, Piyungan
Sub-District, Bantul Regency.
The distribution of social assistance was carried out
at 8 AM current local time and was monitored orderly. Health protocols are
still carried out, such as providing hand sanitizers at each service table,
giving space to seats in the queue, and requiring participants and officers to
wear masks.
The post office staff are also assisted by TKSK
(District Social Welfare Workers), TKPK (Poverty Alleviation Coordination
Team), and PKH (Family Hope Program) facilitators in guiding KPM
(Beneficiaries) recipients. Police Officers, Koramil (Military District Command
Sector), as well as hansip (Civil
Defense) officers cooperate in securing the social assistance distribution
process to keep residents from gathering together.
