The Signing of the MoU between BLBI "Abiyoso" and PUSTAKA
BOGOR (March 3rd 2020) - Indonesian Braille Literacy Center (BLBI) "Abiyoso", the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the Center for Libraries and the Dissemination of Agricultural Technology (PUSTAKA), the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture.
The signing was carried out by the Head of BLBI "Abiyoso" Isep Sepriyan and the Head of PUSTAKA Retno Sri Hartati Mulyandari. As well as attended by the Director of RSPD, Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Margowiyono.
This activity was organized by the Center for Library and Dissemination of Agricultural Technology (PUSTAKA), the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, in a series of Grand Launching of the Soil and Agriculture Museum which was held at the Bogor City Museum of Soil and Agriculture.
This cooperation is carried out on a joint initiative, PUSTAKA collaborates with various stakeholders, one of which is BLBI "Abiyoso" in the cooperation "Establishment of a Braille Corner at PUSTAKA".
The cooperation between BLBI "Abiyoso" and PUSTAKA includes; establishment of braille corners, conversion of alert books into braille and talk books, providing technical guidance for library staff at PUSTAKA, improving accessibility and literacy services for persons with visual sensory disabilities, and coordination related to literacy services for persons with visual sensory disabilities.
This activity aims to improve cooperation, institutional relations and use of resources to support strategic programs of Ministries / Agencies nationally.
